Mark your calendars for the festival's key events, each offering a unique opportunity to revel in the beauty of spring:

Pink Tie Party: Kick off spring at the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s Pink Tie Party on the evening of March 15, 2024. Experience the sights and flavors of global locations as the festival ignites at the historic Union Station in Washington, DC.

Opening Ceremony: Join the Arlington community in welcoming the blooming cherry blossoms with a spectacular opening ceremony on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Blossom Kite Festival: Take to the skies on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the exhilarating Kite Festival, where colorful kites dance against the backdrop of cherry blossoms.

PetalPalooza: Celebrate spring on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at PetalPalooza, a joyous day of music, food, and family fun amidst the blossoming cherry trees.

Parade: Conclude the festival in grand style on Saturday, April 13, 2024, with the iconic Cherry Blossom Parade, a dazzling procession of floats, performers, and marching bands.

Pink in the Park in Arlington
The Art of Pink will serve as the kick-off for Pink in the Park series in National Landing. Creating a temporary mural park at Met Park, four artists will paint several large sculptural walls in Met Park, creating a vibrant installation themed with pink and the Cherry Blossoms. An opening celebration on March 23rd will include art vendors, live art activations, food and music. The murals will stay up the duration of the Pink in the Park series and will be removed on April 14th.
